Boulder Rocks!

I've been living the high life for three days now and I have to say that it's gorgeous out here.  Lots of mountain views, bike lanes and sunshine.  They do seem to get a few more afternoon T-storms than I'm accustomed to but you can plan around

Way to go, Markie V!

My good buddy Mark Van Akkeren was first out of the water at Kona this year (with a faster split than any of the pros, who started a few minutes up) and led the amateur race into the tenth mile of the run, when he started having back problems. Read more

back at it

nothing like a race to pump up your enthusiasm for training. I spent Sunday in Santa Cruz watching Markie V put together a crushing swim+bike and a solid run to finish 2nd overall at the Big Kahuna triathlon. He went like 4:08 for a half-IM! We grabbed
