Alcohol and Training
I'm a beer enthusiast. Back in college our favorite bar served 100 varieties and you could get your name permanently on the wall if you tried 'em all. I enjoy a casual conversation over a few beers... I also enjoy an enthusiastic night

Measuring Up
I recently read this article about Javier Gomez on the ITU website. Apparently he swam 1500m in a pool in 15:45 this year! He also clocked a 29:47 open 10k and a 29:37 10k off the bike in New Plymouth! By comparison, I went 17:48 in the 1650

Masters Swim Meet
I clocked two post-college swimming PR's today at the USMS PNA Championship meet. First I went 5:12.74 in the 500. I think that I could have been a bit quicker but it was comfortably under the USAT Developmental National Team standard of 5:18.

Early-Season Racing
