time trial - but not what you think
I did a running time trial at the indoor tonight. I'm racing the 3k at the UW Last Chance meet in 12 days so Tom had me do a 2k TT tonight at my goal pace. My 3k target is 9:10-9:12 so we were shooting for 6:07-6:08. I had a lot of company for the

whidbey island camp
The past week of my training was dominated by another Recycled Cycles / Raleigh team training camp . We went to Whidbey Island for 4 days of fantastic weather and fantastic riding. We validated our belief/recollection that there is no flat ground on Whidbey

another weekly review
This week followed a similar pattern to last week but was a bit lighter on volume -- Dave and I didn't swim on Wed morning and I cut out the Thursday night bike intervals b/c my I felt a bit too tired to have a good workout. I did get some chunks

weekly review
I was very happy with my training this week. The volume came in at 19.4 hours but I was very happy with the high-intensity workouts on Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu and Sat. I think/hope that I took it easy enough on Fri & Sun that I'll be able to hit it
