almost there
with two days left in the month of March I am proud to say that my log shows 99,600 yards of swimming. It looks like I should make my goal of 100,000 yards this month with a day to spare. Now what should the April goal be? How about "run and bike

you can't make this stuff up...
During my run yesterday I was repeatedly chased by a pair of 4-year-old girls who wanted to "slap my butt." I was running laps around a soccer field near my house where there is a safe, consistent surface for my rehab running. There were a bunch

baby steps
I got outside and ran on solid ground yesterday for the first time in 7 weeks! Woohoo! I walked down the sidewalk to a nearby park (sidewalk = hard surface = bad) and then jogged on the trail there to get to the soccer field. I ran laps on the padded-but-even

swimming, biking, rain...
apologies for the gap in posts... I've been very consistent about getting my swim workouts in. With a week to go in the month of march I have 88400 yards logged. Looks like I should easily cruise past 100,000 for the month. I've also been picking

more swimming... doctor checkup tomorrow
I sawm 6 out of 7 days this week. Not too shabby. Also got in some good lifting sessions. Watched a bike race. Attended a charity auction for the Marymoor Velodrome and continued to get ready for the BikeWorks auction next week. Excellent produce run

berries, swimming, lifting... what else is there?
Another Sunday, another produce trip. Today we hit up CostCo as I had some leftover laminate flooring to return. They had nice-looking 4-pound containers of strawberries for like $10 or $11 and an 18-oz container of blueberries for $7. Neither was organic,

still injured, but a bright spot on the horizon
On the down side, I'm still on a restricted-activity routine... one-fotted swimming, short/easy rides with flat pedals, no running... but I am getting a lot of lifting in. But on the up side, Marky V and I just booked a trip to AUSTIN!!! Woohoooooo!
